Welcome to Neighbourhood Merch.

We exist to celebrate local venues by helping them share their merchandise with their community. These Terms explain how our website works and what you agree to when you use it.

By accessing or purchasing from Neighbourhood Merch, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree to these Terms, please don’t use the Platform.

1. About the Platform

Neighbourhood Merch (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates an online platform that partners with local venues to sell venue-branded merchandise or products endorsed by us.

The Platform may operate across multiple domains including neighbourhoodmerch.com and shop.neighbourhoodmerch.com. These domains form part of the same service and are governed by these Terms.

Venues featured on the Platform are independent businesses. We collaborate with them to sell merchandise, but they are not employees or agents of Neighbourhood Merch.

 

2. Orders & Payments

Product Availability

All products are subject to availability. Occasionally items may sell out or be discontinued. If there’s an issue with your order, we’ll contact you as soon as possible.

Pricing

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
GST is always included unless stated otherwise.

We may update pricing from time to time.

Payment Processing

Payments are securely processed through trusted third-party providers (such as Shopify Payments, Stripe, or PayPal). We do not store any of your card details.

 

3. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping times are estimates and may vary.

We will keep you updated via email from the time of purchase up until the time your product is delivered.

We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, couriers, customs, or events outside our control.

We do our absolute best to make sure you receive your product within a reasonable time frame. If your delivery is taking ages, or if there was any issue with your delivery, please contact us at hello@neighbourhoodmerch.com.

4. Returns & Your Rights

We comply with the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund if a product has a major fault.

We generally do not offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect size selection

If something isn’t right with the product you received, please email us at hello@neighbourhoodmerch.com and we’ll help resolve it.

5. Venue Branding & Intellectual Property

Venue names, logos, and brand assets belong to the respective venues.

The Neighbourhood Merch brand, website design, content, and platform materials belong to us unless otherwise stated.

You must not reproduce, copy, or commercially use any content from the Platform without our express written permission.

 

6. Using the Platform Respectfully

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
  • Interfere with site security or functionality
  • Attempt unauthorised access
  • Copy or scrape content

We want the Platform to remain safe and respectful for everyone.

 

7. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party services to operate (including Shopify and payment processors including Stripe).

We are not responsible for outages or issues caused by those services. Their use is governed by their own terms.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

If we are found liable for any claim relating to a product, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for that product.

Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

You agree to indemnify Neighbourhood Merch against claims or losses arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Your violation of applicable law
